Why Invest in an Herbal CSA?

Receive herbal goods that help you connect to the Earth and deepen your body’s connection to the Pacific Northwest and its seasonal changes. Each box is intentionally crafted/curated to respond to what is seasonally available + most potent + nourishing for that month. As we move our way through the astrological seasons, each box will seek to amplify and balance those unique energies in the body.

Supporting Communal Resilience through Herbal Goods

Your investment in the apothecary not only allows me to continue growing, wild-harvesting, and providing herbal support for our whole community, but also directly circulates income to other small farms, apiaries, and businesses here in Washington & Oregon that I source from.

What is a CSA?

CSA’S (Community-Supported Agriculture) is a long tradition of collaboration between farmers and community. At the beginning of the season, community members invest in farms to help offset the front-loaded costs of starting the growing season. The result: community members receive food on a consistent basis throughout the season at a lower cost - food they helped grow through their contributions.

CSA’s are at the heart of a locally-sustained, resilient food system and circular, regenerative economies on a small scale. Some farms operate exclusively through CSA’s, other farms diversify how they grow food for the community; CSA helping farms invest in the seeds/ equipment/materials necessary at the beginning of the season, allowing them to also sell at farmers markets, wholesale, etc. Either way, CSA’s help everyone have more access to locally-grown food.

What does your CSA share invest in?

Herbal CSA’s purchased in April will help me invest in the raised beds needed to grow herbs, as well as the upfront costs of other materials needed to craft herbal products through summer into Fall/Winter! This includes wholesale orders of locally + organically grown herbs from other small farms and raw materials for crafting products such as honey from our local apiary partner and bulk organic alcohol from the distillery in Oregon.
